Oprah Winfrey yesterday announced that she is ending her daytime talk show because "it's time to leave." The earth continues to shudder. It's colossal news, of course.

Many readers have asked me about this, since I own the domain name/URL OprahSucks.com , and since I regularly monitor and lambaste the propaganda spews forth on her show and in her magazine with my regular "HOprah Watch" updates . My criticism of Oprah has appeared on FOX News, MSNBC, and USA Today , among other mainstream media outlets. And I've taken to calling her by a more appropriate title, "HRHSBotUHer Royal Highness Supreme Being of the Universe. Though, I'm not sure if even the universe can contain that undue ego.  

Holding back tears, Oprah Winfrey told her studio audience Friday that "prayer and careful thought" led her to decide to end her show in 2011 after a quarter-century on the air. Winfrey said "The Oprah Winfrey Show" had been her life and that she knew when it was time to say goodbye. "Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit," she said.

This week, everyone was naked and fighting in public and also there was a book no one read but everyone kept talking about. A pornography company offered a famous beauty contest loser lots of money to distribute video tapes they already possess of her masturbating. Google has scooters.  

The U.S. has finally become a nation of savers. Yet we're getting little for our efforts. As banks rush to buy safe government debt, interest rates are sinking to near zero for the first time since last year's market meltdown.  

After yesterday's announcement that next season would be Oprah's last, the media world was engorged with Oprah debate this morning. Was she really going to quit daytime TV? Or was she simply going to bring the syndicated show over to her newly-launched OWN network?  

He's worked with the biggest names in Hollywood, like Sean Penn , Tobey Maguire , Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow , but now James Franco is taking a stab at daytime television. The 31-year-old actor is guest-starring on ABC's "General Hospital" for two months -- playing a creepy criminal. Check out this behind-the-scenes footage of Franco with co-star Laura Wright.
